MK4 MX5 ND 1.5/2.0L skyactiv engine
This adapter bolts the MK4 ND MX5 1.5L/2.0L skyactiv engine to the rx8 gearbox.  Due to the standard gearbox having a weak 3rd gear we have made this adapter plate to suit the rx8 box.  We used the standard MK4 MX5 flywheel with the MK3 MX5 6 speed clutch. 
It is possible to use the rx8 clutch arm slave cylinder and release bearing with very little work, in this case we recomend the rx8 clutch slave cylinder is shortened to give clearance for the clutch bearing.  We recomend mocking this up out of the car.  Spigot bearing RX8017 is to be used with this adapter along with fitting kit RX8023 can be used to bolt the engine to the adapter and gearbox bellhousing to the adapter. Some grinding for stater motor clearance is needed.
